Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25357 Introduces Facebook Widget: Here’s What You Need to Know

Windows 11 Build 22621.1776

Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25357 to the Canary Channel. The update includes a new Facebook widget. You should download the Facebook app from the Microsoft Store or update to the latest version of the app. You should then open the widgets board and navigate to the widget picker. You can do so by clicking the + button located at the top-right of the board to pin your widget. You can expect the rollout of additional new widgets as more developers create and release widgets for their apps.

After the installation of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25357, you can expect the new volume mixer experience in Quick Settings. The builds released to the Canary Channel are classified hot off the presses. Hence, Microsoft will provide limited documentation for build releases to this channel. You can expect a blog post for each build only if there are new features.

The Canary Channel is a perfect place to preview platform changes, which require longer-lead time before general availability. This includes major changes to the Windows Kernel, new APIs, and much more. Microsoft announced that builds released to the Canary Channel will never ship along with the final release.

Microsoft has warned that the Canary Channel builds will be unstable causing the entire PC to stop functioning. You will have to reinstall Windows in some cases. Microsoft has provided USB Disk to Windows Insiders so that they will be able to reinstall Windows 11 quickly. Microsoft will not publish a blog post for every flight. You can expect content about a particular build only if there are new features such as Facebook widget in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25357.
