According to Meta sources, the new features will enhance user experience for the tech-savvy community in India. Instagram already introduced features such as ads in search results and reminder Ads in early 2023.
With the help of GIF comments, you will be able to add fun and expressions to your Instagram conversations. To work with this new feature, you should tap the comment icon on the relevant post. You should then locate the GIF icon located right of the text box to navigate the GIPHY library. You can select a desired GIF from the displayed library and add as comment.
Meta also introduced Instagram Gifts functionality in India. You will be able to buy Stars and use them as virtual gifts. You can easily make money from reels easily. Even though the new feature was rolled out in November 2002, the company has introduced the feature in Inda only now. Your fans can pick several themed gifts to display admiration and gratitude.
The newly introduced Reels Editor can be used to merge video clips, audio, and stickers. You can divide a single clip into two separate clips via split feature. You can adjust the speed of your clips including slowing down the footage and adding an extra layer of creativity. You can swap one clip with another without affecting the timing in your reel such as audio or additional clips. The new features will be rolled out in a phased manner.
