Meta Verified is now available in India. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced that the subscription is now available in India and globally. Meta Verified is similar to that of the Twitter verified program. As part of the Meta Verified, the company would provide you with a blue tick including enhanced privacy and impersonation protection. The service is available for users in India, UK, and Canada. The company will soon launch the Meta verified in Brazil.

The company sources revealed that Meta Verified is a membership package on Facebook and Instagram, which includes a verified badge. The company will verify your account with an official Government ID and also provides proactive account protection and account assistance.

You need a valid Government ID to get the profilers verified. This is to attest the user’s credibility and the authenticity of an account. Moreover, you should be 18 years and above. The minimum activity requirement should also be fulfilled. The Government ID should match with the profile name and photo of the relevant Facebook and Instagram accounts.

You will receive a blue tick after Meta confirms your submissions. This includes your Government verification ID and payment. Your account will have proactive monitoring for impersonators who could be a potential targets to expand your audience. Meta will provide direct user support for all common issues in English. The company will soon introduce monthly subscription fee of INR 599 for web users. To recall, Twitter Verified is also available on the web and mobile platforms. It will take some time for the company to design and develop an intuitive user interface.
