Microsoft has started to roll out Bing Chat Enterprise in the Windows Copilot Preview. The functionality will be made available only to eligible commercial customers in the Dev Channel including select Beta Channel Windows Insiders. The enterprise companies who have Bing Chat Enterprise enabled on Bing.com need not perform any extra steps to work with it in the Windows Copilot Preview.
The experience will be similar to that of the existing Bing Chat experience. The branding has been changed to reflect Bing Chat Enterprise. Microsoft also added a reminder with each prompt with the information that the personal and corporate data is protected. The changes are under the hood for IT Pros and those enterprise companies who are responsible for data protection and compliance. The Bing Chat Enterprise enables your enterprise organization to make use of Windows Copilot with confidence.
Your data will be protected. Moreover, the chat history is not saved. Microsoft will have no eyes on access and your data will not be used to train the underlying models. The Bing Chat Enterprise is grounded in web data and provides complete, verifiable answers with citations. The system will also throw in visual answers that include graphs and charts and are aligned in line with the AI principles of the company. The Windows Copilot Preview is currently available to Dev Channel Windows Insiders and also to select Beta Channel Insiders. We don’t have any information as to when the Copilot Preview will be available to Canary Channel Windows Insiders.
