HP has announced the launch of the first 16-inch HP Pavilion Plus laptop. The device is expected to hit the retail shelves in October in both Intel and AMD variants. HP has designed the laptop to drive creative content creation and collaboration. Moreover, the HP Pavilion Plus 16 will be pre-loaded with Windows 11. The Windows Hello face recognition technology coupled with the 5MP camera enables users to login quickly. The dual array microphone ensures that the voice will emit loud and clear for meetings.
The refreshed 2023 Pavilion Plus portfolio incorporates sustainability in the design. The devices are manufactured with 20% post-consumer recycled plastics and 50% recycled metal.
On the specifications front, the Pavilion Plus 16 boasts a 16-inch 2.4K WQXGA Intel Evo Certified design display, NVIDIA RTX 3050 Graphics Processor. The addition of a 120Hz variable refresh rate adds an immersive user experience with precise details. The optimized resolution and maximized power efficiency add more charm to the device.
The upcoming HP Pavilion Plus 14 is powered either by a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor or up to AMD Ryzen 7 7840H processor. The AMD Ryzen AI is integrated into the processor. This will unlock the video conferencing capabilities of Windows Studio Effects. You should note that Windows Studio Effects features such as background blur, eye contact, and automated framing are hardware-dependent and require a qualified Neural Processing Unit.
