Microsoft Releases Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25947 Without Major Features

Microsoft has announced the rollout out Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25947 to the Canary Channel. This flight has no new features but provides bug fixes. The update has resolved a high-hitting ctfmon.exe crash in recent flights. This bug had caused the inability to type for Windows Insiders. Microsoft also resolved few issues that impacted explorer.exe reliability. If the File Explorer crashed while navigating to Gallery, then the problem has been resolved. The update has fixed a few issues that impact explorer.exe reliability. This includes fixing an issue that could cause File Explorer to crash when navigating to Gallery.

The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25947 has resolved an issue that causes explorer.exe to not work in safe mode. The performance will be provided upon switching between different pages in Task Manager. If you happen to view a pop-up with the message “Select an app to open this ‘ms-screenclip’ link” after the latest Snipping Tool app update, then the issue has been resolved. Microsoft has accepted that few popular games will not work correctly on the systems loaded with the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview builds in the Canary Channel. The company has urged users to submit feedback.
