Microsoft has started to roll out Paint Cocreator update to Windows Insiders in the Dev and Canary Channels. As of this writing, the Paint Cocreator is available in United States, France, UK, Australia, Canada, Italy, and Germany. We expect the rollout in other regions within the next few days since Microsoft needs to address feedback.
Microsoft Paint Cocreator update is a new AI-enabled experience powered by DALL-E technology. You will be able to create amazing artwork in Paint by simply providing a few words that you would like to create including the ability to select an optional art style. The Paint Cocreator will automatically generate three variations of artwork that you can choose from upon selecting Create button.
Microsoft announced that the Paint Cocreator will be rolled out in a phased manner. To work with this new feature, you should select the new Cocreator button in the Toolbar. You should join the waitlist by using your Microsoft account credentials. You will receive an email notification when your device is eligible for the preview. Microsoft will provide 50 credits, which can be used to generate images. You can generate 50 unique AI images because one credit equals one image.
Microsoft has revealed that they have applied content filtering and other necessary safeguards to prevent generation of harmful, offensive, and inappropriate images. The product team is working hard to optimize the usage of the Paint Cocreator based on real-world usage and feedback.
