Windows 11 Gets Better With Revamped Windows Copilot Icon

Microsoft has rolled out Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23565 to the Dev Channel with Windows Copilot enhancemernts. After the installation of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23565, you will notice that the Windows Copilot icon has changed to a new icon. Microsoft has introduced Windows Spotlight improvements.

Microsoft has released two new special desktop backgrounds as part of the 9th anniversary of the Windows Insider Program. The product team has released both Light and Dark variants of the backgrounds. Moreover, Microsoft has pushed the 9th anniversary badge for all Windows Insiders in the Feedback Hub. The Windows Spotlight on desktop will be on by default as the default background for upgrades. This will happen when Windows Insiders are making use of one of the inbox default desktop backgrounds. This experience is being rolled out to select Windows Insiders.

The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23565 has resolved issues that impact File Explorer reliability. The flight fixed an issue that could cause File Explorer windows to hang for OneDrive users. The system will not display a loading state if there are plenty of images to load in Gallery.

Microsoft has also reported known issues pertaining to the Start menu. There are reports that some apps under All apps on the Start menu such as PWA apps installed via Microsoft Edge could be incorrectly labeled as a system component. There are reports of Windows Copilot being disappearing from Windows 11 Home installations and the product team is working hard to resolve this issue in the upcoming flights.
