Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 27823 to the Canary Channel. The update brings in a small set of general improvements and bug fixes to enhance Windows Insiders experience. The flight has rolled out top cards under Settings > System > About. You can view your PC configuration such as processor, RAM, storage and GPU including other vital information. You can easily understand the capabilities of your PC quickly. However, Top Cards won’t appear on managed commercial PCs.
The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 27823 has resolved an issue pertaining to File Explorer. If the see more menu in the command bar was drawing in the wrong direction at some resolutions, then the issue has been resolved. The build provides increased support for the text scaling as part of the efforts to improve File Explorer accessibility. If apps failed to install in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 27813+, then the problem has been resolved. The issues related to CopyPixels and traffic routing have been resolved in Build 27823.
Microsoft has clarified that you will lose Windows Hello Pin and biometrics if you are joining the Canary Channel on a new Copilot+ PC from the Dev Channel or Release Preview Channel. Microsoft is working to provide a patch to address the issue related to the Taskbar icons.
