The first step is to select the source from the RecoveryFox AI Dashboard. The above screenshot shows C drive but if you connect a USB drive or Portable hard drive, the software will display them below your PC root drive. Let’s connect a USB drive and observe the result as shown below.
You need to hover over the Local Disk (D), which is our pen drive slot to start the scanning process. RecoveryFox AI initially performs quick scanning of the drive as shown below
The product then initiates AI scanning process, which will take time depending upon the size of the drive. The tool displays the scan progress and the total number of files found during the scan as shown below
The final step is to transfer all the recovered files to a new folder on your computer by selecting Recover button. You will view the recovery progress as shown below.
You can view the output folder immediately after the completion of the scanning process. You have to create an output folder before proceeding to save the files. We used an old USB drive and hence can’t remember which files were deleted. However, the RecoveryFox AI manage to recover image files.
