Xiaomi Piston Fresh in-ear headphones with 3rd generation damping system launched in China

Xiaomi has launched Piston Fresh in-ear headphones in China with 3rd generation damping system at CNY 29, which equates to $4. The new headphone is available in blue, black, pink, purple and silver color variants.

Xiaomi is no stranger in the launching of accessories such as power banks, earphones and Bluetooth speakers. Hence, the recent launch assumes no great significance. However, the term Piston Fresh seems to be unheard of by the tech community.

According to Xiaomi, the Piston Fresh in-ear headphones features 3rd generation damping system. Moreover, the headphones offers integrated microphone and a button for receiving calls. The newly launched Piston Fresh in-ear headphones will be very useful for audio freaks who would love to enjoy rich audio experience on the go.

On the specifications front, the Xiaomi Piston Fresh in-ear headphones features an impedance of 32 Ohms coupled with a standard frequency response range from 20 Hz to 20000 Hz. The headphone measures 14 grams.

Even though the addition of damping system is not a major groundbreaking technology, it is a nice addition for a budget headphone.

The main disadvantage of the Xiaomi Piston Fresh in-ear headphone is that it will work not with iOS devices such as iPhones, iPads and macOS. Hence, if you are using iPhone 7, you will not be able to make use of the new headphone.
