Huawei Mate 9 has been refreshed with a brand new obsidian black color. Hence, if you love black color, you should try to buy the new smartphone. Originally launched in November 2016, the Huawei Mate 9 is available in wide range of color variants such as champagne gold, mocha gold, ceramic white, silver moonlight, and sky gray.
Except color, all other specifications are same like the previously released model, which includes price. Regarding availability, the Huawei Mate 9 in obsidian black variant will be available for sale from December 25.
Talking about the specifications, the Huawei Mate 9 features a 5.9-inch IPS Full HD display, Kirin 960 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone gets the power from the integrated 4000mAh battery with fast charging support via USB Type-C port.
The rear camera is equipped with a dual camera with 20MP + 12MP lens alongside f/2.2 aperture, OIS. Moreover, the handset also offers support for 2x zoom, Leica optics, phase detection, laser autofocus, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. On the front, you will find an 8MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and FHD video recording capability.
That being said, the main attraction of Huawei Mate 9 is the integration of dual camera. The display has a pixel density of 373PPI, which is less for a large display smartphone.
Even though the handset was dubbed to ship with Kirin 970 processor, the company infused Kirin 960 processor, which is also equally good. If you love Black color, then we expect that you will really love the new obsidian black colored Huawei Mate 9.
