Apple has announced the release of macOS Big Sur 11.2 with improvements and security patches. The latest update has resolved issues pertaining to Bluetooth and external display. The black screen appearance of Apple M1-enabled Mac Mini computers has been resolved. The update also fixed iCloud Drive access including the Photos app.
The macOS Big Sur 11.2 has improved Bluetooth reliability and resolved the issue pertaining to the external displays. There were reports that users got black screen when established connectivity to Mac Mini via an HDMI-to-DVI converter. The macOS Big Sur 11.2 also addresses issues related to saving of Apple ProRAW photo edits in the Photos app.
The update also fixed unlock issue while entering the adminstrator password in System Preferences. If the Globekey doesn’t display the Emoji and Symbols pane, the issue has been resolved. In addition to the above-mentioned features, the latest macOS update also provides security vulnerability patches.
Apple released macOS Big Sur 11.2 for MacBook, iMac, Mac Mini, and all other Mac computers that are compatible with the original Big Sur update. The updates are being rolled out automatically over the air. Alternatively, you can verify the status of the update by navigating to System Preferences | Software update option. You will be able to locate the update by navigating to the About This Mac option from the Apple menu and selecting the Software update button.
