Xiaomi Launches Mi Notebook Pro 15 With OLED Display and trimmed 14-inch Laptops

Xiaomi has launched Mi Notebook Pro 15 and Mi Notebook Pro 14 laptops in China. The laptops are powered by 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake processor and Nvidia GeForce graphics. While the 15-inch model comes with an OLED display, the Mi Notebook Pro 14 ships with a high refresh rate display. Moreover, the new laptops also carry Thunderbolt 5 ports.

The Mi Notebook Pro 15 flaunts a 15.6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3456×2160 pixels and 261 PPI pixel density. The display offers a 16:10 aspect ratio with 400-nits brightness. The standard refresh rate of 60Hz is accompanied by TUV Rheinland blue light certification technology.

Talking about the Notebook Pro 14, the display offers a 14-inch 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate alongside 216PPI pixel density and 300-nits brightness. The screen also comes with the same TUV Rheinland low blue light certification. The laptops are powered by up to Intel 11th gen Core i7-11370H processor coupled with Nvidia GeForce MX450 processor.

The 16GB RAM is accompanied by a 512GB PCIe SSD internal storage. In addition to Wi-Fi 6, the laptops provide support for Bluetooth 5.1, Thunderbolt 4, and a headphone port. The device also includes dual USB Type-C ports. The entertainment is handled by dual 2W speakers with support for DTS Audio processing.

The Mi Notebook Pro borrows power via a 66Whr battery with support for fast charging. The device can charge 50 percent within 35 minutes. The 14-inch model consists of a 56Whr battery with the capability to charge to percent in 37 minutes. The laptops are pre-loaded with Windows 10 Home.

Mi Notebook Pro 15 Pricing

The Mi Notebook Pro 15 with Intel Core i5 processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 6499. The same configuration topped up with Nvidia GeForce MX450 processor will cost CNY 6999. The Core i7 variant will cost CNY 7999. The Mi Notebook Pro 14 will cost CNY 5299 for the base variant and CNY 5999 for the mid-level configuration. The premium model is priced at CNY 6999. The laptops are available for pre-order on Mi China with expected shipping from April 2. The 14-inch laptop will be available for pre-order from April 26 with an expected ship date from May 1. We don’t have any information about the availability of the new laptops outside China. We expect a new laptop to hit Indian region by the end of 2021.
