WinfrGUI Review: Best Way To Recover Deleted Files

If you think you can’t recover files that are emptied from the Windows Recycle Bin, then you are wrong because it’s easy to recover them with the help of WinfrGUI tool. The WinfrGUI tool invokes Windows File Recovery, which is the Microsoft command-line app to restore deleted files with a Graphical User Interface. You can easily recover deleted files in Windows 10 and Windows 11 with just a few clicks. It’s not a big rocket science because AOMEI has integrated complex algorithms behind a simple UI. The main highlight of WinfrGUI is that the software is completely free. You will never find an undelete software, which is completely free.

The WinfrGUI includes quick and deep scan capabilities. The Quick scan performs fast scanning speed under NTFS file system. The deep scan can be used to recover additional files that have lost directly structure and file names. The WinfrGUI is capable of recovering files from formatted and corrupted hard drives. You can recover media and office files of all possible extensions. You can also recover lost Windows files from SSD/HDD/USB and memory cards.

WinfrGUI can be installed easily just by downloading and running the installer. The overall capacity of the installer is just below 4MB and the tool can be installed within one minute.

To initiate the file recovery process, you should select the relevant drive name and then choose a suitable scan mode. We selected Quick Scan for the purpose of this review.  You can even recover files from Google Drive. You just need to select Google Drive and then click “Start Recovery” button. A confirmation message as shown below will be displayed.

You can view the list of recovered files by selecting “View recovered Files” button. You can easily restore the deleted files to your desired location.

WinfrGUI is a simple tool using which you can easily recover deleted files. The tool will not consume heavy system resources and the entire work can be completed using a single dashboard. If you are recovering files from C drive, then the tool should enable users to save the files inside a separate folder on the same drive. This will benefit users with only one hard drive partition. That being said, we highly recommend users to test drive WinfrGUI since it’s completely freeware from the house of AOMEI, which is the popular data recovery solutions company.
