Do you want to convert a web page into a PDF document or PNG image file? You need not have to worry because URL Capture Pro is here to your rescue. URL Capture Pro automatically saves the web pages to PDF in addition to PNG, JPG, WebP, TIFF, and BMP formats. The app is designed in such a way that it doesn’t cause any loss of formatting when capturing the web pages. The app runs on Windows and Mac platforms. The company has designed the user interface with a modern look with complete scalability. You can also password-protect PDFs without any loss of formatting.
Installation
You can install URL Capture Pro easily by downloading the installation file. We claimed the Giveawayoftheday offer and found it easy to download and install the app. The program comes pre-activated and hence you need not have to provide any license key.
Working with URL Capture Pro
The URL Capture Pro opens immediately after the installation. You can also double-click the desktop icon or locate the app from the Windows 11 search. The dashboard looks like as shown below
The app loads the home page of Google with category pages. We selected Technology section from the Google News main category. You should select Save PDF icon on the Toolbar. You will be prompted to save the PDF after a while. We observed that the URL Capture Pro app opened the webpage as such in paged format. However, the links are not retained but you can convert a webpage into PDF file easily.
Security
You can protect the PDF file with password by selecting Protecting PDF with Password icon from the toolbar. A dialog box as shown below will be displayed.
The textbox will be activated only upon selecting Protect PDF with password checkbox. You can also save the webpage as an image. We found it difficult to read because the app generates one single long vertical image file. The company is offering lifetime license at an affordable price that can be availed by selecting Offer menu.
Conclusion
URL Capture Pro automatically fetches a webpage and converts them into PDF file. We used to manually save a webpage from the File menu but you will not be able to get the result as this product does. The app will be useful to study the functionalities of a webpage.
