Apple WWDC 2021 Schedule Announced: Everything you need to know

Apple has announced the schedule of WWDC 2021 to be held virtually because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The WWDC 2021 will be held on June 7 at 10.30 PM IST and will be live streamed on Apple.com, Apple Developer app, Apple TV app, and YouTube. According to reports, the company is expected to announce updates to iOS 15, iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS. The iPhone maker disclosed that the WWDC 2021 will be free for all Apple developers including other participants. The event will showcase the new features of iOS 15 including updates to iPadOS,macOS, tvOS, and watchOS.

The WWDC 2021 will be live-streamed directly from Apple Park and will be available on-demand on several platforms. The company has promised over 200 in-depth sessions, one-on-one labs, and other related resources for those developers attendings WWDC 2021. The Apple Design Awards will also be simultaneously held during the WWDC 21 event on June 10.

The newly launched Pavilions module enables developers to explore sessions, labs, and specific activities under one single umbrella. You will be able to customize the WWDC experience from within the Apple Developer app and select sessions under different categories such as SwiftUI, Developer Tools, Accessibility, and much more.

The WWDC 2021 will unveil iOS 15, which is expected to bring in all-new notification settings including personalization and interactive widgets. The iMessage functionality will have identical features of WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram. We expect bug fixes and more intuitive features in iOS 15. The iOS 14 was launched with great features in 2020.

The macOS 12 will also ship with new features with improvements to Mi-powered Macs. The WWDC 2021 will introduce watchOS 8 with new set of health-related features. The reports that Tim Cook-owned company is planning to add mental health-related features to Apple Watch to tackle the stress associated with the pandemic. You can also expect updates to tvOS.
