    • Notepad and Media Player for Windows Insiders Gets Better with New Features

    Microsoft has rolled out new updates for Notepad and Media Player for Windows Insiders. The overall Notepad experience has been improved on ARM64 devices on versions 11.2204 and higher. This update is available in all channels. You will notice enhanced performance while working with the app.

    You will find additional performance improvements while scrolling very large files or replacing large amount of text across all devices in version 11.2205 and higher available in the Dev channel. The latest Notepad update also added improved support for screen readers, text scaling, access keys, and other assistive technologies in version 11.2204 and higher in all channels with additional enhancements in version 11.2205 and higher in the Dev channel.

    Microsoft also rolled out an update to Media Player in version 11.2205 and higher to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. You can sort songs and albums in your collection by date added. Moreover, the support for CD playback has been expanded. Microsoft also made improvements to adapt the Media player to theme changes and to the media content drag and drop experience. The updates are now available to all Windows Insiders.
