Asus has announced the rollout of the FOTA update for the 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 smartphone. The new update brings in the integration of the Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) functionality.
With FOTA version WW_Phone-15.2016.1810.337-20181106, the latest update brings in EIS support for the 3GB and 4GB RAM variants comprising of 32GB and 64GB internal storage variants of the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1. Moreover, the update also includes live wallpaper module.
In a statement released to the press, the company sources revealed to us that the latest FOTA update will be made available in a phased manner to the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1. It will take a few days for the software update to hit your smartphones. Alternatively, you can manually verify for the existence of the update by tapping Settings menu.
Before proceeding to download the update, you should activate Wi-Fi and charge the handset up to 70 percent to avoid interruption. The phone is new and hence there won’t be much storage but you should free up space if you had stored plenty of files inside the device.
