However, the download will be successful and the build should install without any problem.
Windows Speech Recognition Replaced: Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23606
The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23606 has replaced Windows Speech Recognition to voice access. You will view a pop-up, which prompts you to test drive voice access when WSR is opened. Microsoft has added a banner under Settings | Accessibility | Speech option. The Voice access makes use of on-device speech recognition, which enables users to manage PC and text authoring without an active Internet connectivity. Going forward, Microsoft will provide support for multiple languages and custom commands. If you work with Windows Speech Recognition, you should try voice access bundled with this flight.
Phone Link Renamed
The Phone Link settings page located under Settings | Bluetooth & devices has been renamed to Mobile devices. A new section has been added to the system but the dashboard will not perform any work as of now. You can expect additions to this new page in the upcoming builds.
The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23606 has resolved an issue that caused the details pane in File Explorer to capture keyboard focus unexpectedly. The app also resolved an issue pertaining to File Explorer crash while accessing or scrolling Gallery.
Microsoft also resolved a high hitting tabtip.exe crash while trying to make use of pen input in the previous flight. There is an issue with Copilot in Windows while working with voice access. You will need to make use of Show grid commands to click in the Ask me anything box initially. If you reenable Microsoft Start feed, you will notice a loading delay. The news from the Microsoft Start feed will be visible on the Taskbar after the feed is hidden. You will also notice incorrect spacing and fonts in Settings dashboard.
