    • Microsoft Photos Gets a Supercharge with AI Editing via Designer

    Microsoft Photos has introduced advanced AI editing capabilities with Microsoft Designer. You can make use of AI to edit photos from within the Photos app on Windows 11. This update is now available across all Windows Insider Channels.

    You can edit photos like an expert with a fully integrated Microsoft Designer image editing user interface. You need not have to leave the Microsoft Photos app and can perform all editing work without any design skills. You should click on the Edit with Designer button. The relevant photo will appear in Designer from within the Photos app. You can perform all the required modifications from the displayed user interface.

    Microsoft Designer automatically detects the objects in your image, which enables you to customize easily. You can erase objects from the image, and integrate background blur to your photos including adding new text and markup functionalities. You can also make use of the color app, auto crop, filters, and adjustments.

    The Microsoft Designer integration with the Microsoft Photos app is currently available in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and German Windows display languages. You should update the Photos app to version number 2024.11070.12001.0 or higher to enjoy the latest Photos experience.
