Windows Photos Gets Better with Microsoft Designer Integration

Windows Photos

Microsoft has upgraded Windows Photos with Microsoft Designer integration. You can now deliver an image from the Photos app to Microsoft Designer. If you are unaware, the Designer app is a cloud-based graphic design app using which you can create attractive AI images, graphics, social media posts, digital postcards, and invitations via Generative AI.

The system borrows DALL-E 3 technology for image generation. This new update is available on Windows 11 in the US, UK, Ireland, India, New Zealand, and Australia. This update will be pushed to Windows Insiders in the Canary and Dev Channels respectively.

You simply need to select the Designer button in the title bar while viewing a single image in the Photos app. The image will open inside the designer editor using the default web browser. You can add filters, templates, and amazing graphics. The integrated AI tools enable you to personalize your photo.

To enjoy the new Windows Photos experience, you need to update your app to version number 2024.11040.16001.0 or higher. Microsoft Designer is currently in preview stage and you can sign in with your Microsoft credentials.
