Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 27686 to the Canary Channel. This build includes Windows Sandbox Client Preview, which can be updated via the Microsoft Store. Microsoft has introduced runtime clipboard redirection, audio/video input control and the ability to share folders with the host at runtime. The build also includes an early preview of command line support.

This build has adopted several optimizations to enhance battery life for PCs running Build 27686+ in the Canary Channel. Microsoft has added a detach virtual hard disk (VHD/VHDx) button to Settings using which you can detach the disk easily. Microsoft has started to roll out improvements to Power & battery dashboard with battery saving improvements. The build has added the option to enable HDR video streaming even when HDR is off or disabled.
The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 27686 has increased the FAT32 size limit from 32GB to 2TB when formatting disks from the command line with the help of the format command. The build has resolved an issue where Dev Drive VHDs weren’t automatically re-mounting when the underlying volume was dismounted. The error associated with the Windows Security app has been resolved.
