With just a few months left for the official launch of Apple iPhone 8, the fresh images leaked via Instagram reveals vertical dual-lens camera sensor coupled with rear-facing Touch ID. The images are created based on the rumors and leaks obtained so far by Instagram user bro.king.
Upon inspection of the design images, we can assume that the iPhone 8 is expected to ship with a 5.8-inch OLED curved display to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the iPhone.
The leaked renders are that of the rear shell. We can see the traditional Apple logo and a rounded circle on the rear side, which should be that of the fingerprint scanner. On the extreme top right side, you can see the camera sensor slot in the vertical position.
The second render is also the same but is shows the side panel with volume rockers and power button. We can also spot the speaker grills on the far end alongside the charging port. The render also showcases several internal holes and screw holes.
The third render also shows the side controls along with the placeholders for the internal components. We can clearly visualize the vertically mounted rear camera.
The leaked images showcases a flat edged iPhone 8 chassis alongside a vertical dual camera on the rear. Moreover, you can also spot a Touch ID, which is pointed towards the rear. When it comes to the technical measurements, the iPhone 8 will feature a size of 149.5mm x 72.5mm.
According to industry analysts, the Cupertino-based company is shifting track towards vertical camera alignment because it produces enhanced image quality. Moreover, the camera will also offer AR-related features, which will most likely integrate with Siri.
That said, the iPhone 8 renders are based on specifications that are leaked so far. Hence, you should only accept the facts only with a salt of a tablespoon. There are conflicting reports that Apple may not include a Touch ID. Based on the renders, we can guess that the iPhone 8 will ship with an all-glass design and not based on aluminum.
The internal reports suggest the fact that the Apple is currently testing multiple prototypes of iPhone 8. The time has not come to pick a design. Apple has reportedly entered into partnerships with multiple supply chain sources to procure spares.
