Gionee has launched the much-awaited Gionee M7 Power in India. The main highlight of the Gionee M7 Power is the integration of a 6-inch FullView bezel-less display coupled with a massive 5000mah battery. In this article, we will examine the specifications and features of the newly launched smartphone.


The Gionee M7 Power is equipped with a 6-inch HD+ FullView display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels paired with 18:9 aspect ratio. In addition to the 2.5D curved glass on top of the screen, the company also integrated Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to prevent damages caused due to scratches.


Powered by a Snapdragon 435 (MSM8940) processor, the Gionee M7 Power features Adreno 505 graphics, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat on top of the Amigo OS 5.0. It is possible to extend the storage up to 256GB using the memory card.


While the rear side features a 13MP f/2.0 aperture camera with support for PDAF and LED Flash, the front side offers an 8MP sensor. The front camera is infused with advanced software algorithms in such a way that it is capable of capturing Bokeh selfies. The device blurs the background while capturing selfies.


The Gionee M7 Power is integrated with a large 5000mAh fast-charging battery. You will be able to get a standby time of over five days upon normal usage. Moreover, you can charge the device quickly because of the fast charging support.


Like all other standard smartphones, the Gionee M7 Power includes Dual SIM connectivity via hybrid slot comprising of dual nano SIM and microSD card. The smartphone provides a fingerprint sensor on the rear. The attraction is that the sensor will also act as a camera shutter key. Hence, you can access flashlight using the fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, the device offers support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE including other conventional sensors.

Let’s face it. The higher the battery, the more the weight of the phone. The weight of the M7 Power is around 200 grams with an increased thickness of 8.6mm. It is possible to upload contacts, images, files, apps, SMS and much more to a private space. Hence, your data will be safe and confidential. Gionee has designed the phone to enable you to work with up to three WhatsApp account.


Priced at Rs. 16999, the Gionee M7 ower is available for pre-order from November 17 to 24 exclusively on Amazon. The smartphone will be shipped to customers starting November 25.
