Xiaomi MIUI 13 with new features rumored to launch soon

Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the upcoming MIUI 13 even though there is a slight lag in the rollout of the MIUI 12.5. According to reports, the launch of MIUI 12.5 will launch on June 25 and there is no scope of any delay. The launch of MIUi 13 will initially happen in the Chinese region followed by other major markets including India.

You can expect the arrival of MIUI 13 on the latest Xiaomi and Redmi handsets. The initial rollout will be for a closed group, which will help the company to fix bugs and errors. It’s been the habit of the company to release new version of MIUI alongside the launch of new smartphones. There are reports that MIUI 13 could launch along with Xiaomi Mi Mix 4.

The Lei Jun-owned company is pushing MIUI 12.5 and is currently updating Chinese versions of smartphones. The upcoming MIUI 13 will be developed to enable users to make use of 3GB of virtual memory.

The Xiaomi Insiders have discovered a new feature named Memory extension in the MIUI 12 code. However, we don’t have any confirmation as to when Xiaomi will roll out the new feature. This feature makes no sense in flagship devices with 8 to 12GB RAM. However, if you work with 2 to 4GB RAM devices, then you will find the Memory extension functionality more useful.
