Sony issues fix to resolve accelerometer issue in Xperia X Performance

Sony has fixed a bug associated with accelerometer on its flagship Xperia X Performance. According to sources, an issue,which has been affecting users working with Xperia X Performance has been addressed by Sony. Moreover, a fix is currently being issued via OTA.

The fix addresses the issue associated with the accelerometer that detects the orientation of the phone. The sensor will stop working. However, the phone will be unable to detect when the user was changing its position.

Till recentl, you will have to fix the problem by restarting the phone. However, this is a temporary solution and the company would like to provide a permanant fix.

The ITA update is avaiable for the dualSIM variant (F8132) as well as the singleSIM (F8131) models of the Xperia X Performance.
