ZTE K92 Tablet Passes Through Bluetooth Certification

ZTE

ZTE K92 tablet has been certified by Bluetooth SIG with support for 4G LTE. If the certification news is to be believed, you can expect a new ZTE branded tablet within the next few days. Even though the tablet segment is little dull when compared to smartphones, there are users who still work wth tablets for web browsing and social media work.

The Bluetooth certification page displays the member company as ZTE Corporation. With declaration ID D033117, the design model number has been mentioned as K92. The product type is listed as Controller Subsystem with the specification name as 4.2.

While the hardware version number has been tagged as K92HWB01, the software version number has been dubbed as K92V1.0.0B01. The design description states LTE/WCDMA Tablet, which means the new ZTE K92 will feature 4G LTE connectivity. There are not many tablets with 4G connectivity and ZTE K92 will certainly prove to be a game changer.

That said, we don’t have any information about the expected specifications of the ZTE K92. The Bluetooth listing doesn’t provide the specifications except for the above facts. However, we can assure you that the tablet will provide support for 4G LTE.

Regarding the price, the new tablet will be a mid-level tablet. We also expect the addition of Android Nougat into the tablet. The upcoming ZTE K92 will set new benchmarks in the industry because of 4G LTE and Android Nougat.

Interestingly, another ZTE phablet has surfaced on GFXBench with model number ZTE Z986. Likely to be loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the ZTE Z986 features a 6-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage including rear and front-facing shooters.
