Microsoft has thrown open the AI-enabled Bing search engine in open preview. You need not have to apply for waitlist to work with Bing AI. The Redmond-based software giant also introduced new features to Bing Chat and revamped the Image Creator experience.
Bing AI has been upgraded with the ability to deliver answers with charts, graphs, and updated formatting. You will be able to fetch information quickly. The company also announced that Bing Chat conversations will be accessible via a chat history. You will be able to share and export the chat conversations. Like in the case of ChatGPT, you will be able to return to previous chats in Bing Chat with the help of this functionality. Microsoft will also provide a capability to enable developers to build third-party plugins for the Bing Chat experience.
Microsoft will also launch Edge actions. The Microsoft Edge actions will fetch and display options in chat in the sidebar. You can then play the movie from where it’s made available. Moreover, Chat in Microsoft Edge will have enabled summarisation capabilities for long documents such as lengthy PDFs and longer-form websites.
Microsoft also announced that they are expanding Bing Image Creator to over 100 languages. You will be able to create AI-enabled images in your own native language. Bing will soon be upgraded in such a way that enables users to upload images and search the web for relevant content.
That said, Microsoft Bing has been enriched with several capabilities. Microsoft has gone one step ahead in terms of AI when compared with Google. According to analysts, Google is lagging behind AI when other companies have already integrated them into the products. Google is all set to announce new features during the upcoming Google I/O 2023 conference. We expect the company to launch Bard AI globally. As of this writing, Google Bard AI is limited to US and the UK. However, we gained access to Bard AI via a free VPN tool.
