The search engine giant has sent out invites to an in-person Made by Google event on October 4 at 10 AM ET to be held in New York City. Google will unveil the latest iterations to the premium Pizel portfolio of devices. Even though Google didn’t name any devices, social media is abuzz with information about the imminent Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. This is the first release of Pixel device since 2016.

Google took to Threads and revealed that Pixel will stay cool as cucumbers. The W8 is almost over and expect something for Made By Google on October 4. The Threads video also reveals that the device will be integrated with USB-C charging functionality.

According to rumor mills, the upcoming Google Pixel 8 will be most likely a compact phone with excellent specifications. The reports suggest that the Google Pixel 8 will boast a 6.17-inch FHD+ OLED display with 10~120Hz variable refresh rate.

The forthcoming Google Pixel 8 is rumored to ship with an enhanced ultrawide camera including an AI-enabled camera mechanism. You can expect a 108MP rear camera supported by 3 secondary sensors. The camera sensors will be accompanied by a powerful LED Flash. Google will also integrate a bigger battery when compared with Samsung Galaxy S23. Moreover, the device will have clean, intuitive, and smooth software.

According to reports, the Google Pixel 8 Pro could ship with a contactless thermometer, which can be used to determine fever. However, we have to see whether this particular feature will click because of the drastic reduction in COVID-19 cases. There is also a possibility of the launch of Pixel Watch 2 with longer battery life and enhanced health-tracking functionalities. Google mailed invites just one day after Apple fixed the date for the launch of iPhone 15. The launch of Apple iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, and wearables will happen on September 12 at Apple Park, Cupertino, California.
