Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.2700 Released: Check out what’s new?

Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.2700 to the Beta Channel. Microsoft revealed that they will document changes in Beta Channel builds in two buckets such as new features/improvements and fixes. These updates will gradually roll out for Windows Insiders who have turned on the toggle to receive the latest updates. The Redmond-based software giant disclosed that the new features rollouts will increase to everyone who has turned on the toggle.

The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22623.2700 has resolved an underlying issue that caused the setting to turn off while using drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop. If the Snipping Tool crashes while capturing screenshots on ARM devices, then the issue is being looked into.

With the help of the Beta Channel, you will be able to preview experiences that most likely will ship to general customers. There are cases where features and experiences will be first available in the Beta Channel instead of Dev and Canary Channel builds. However, there is no assurance that the features bundled with the Beta Channel will ship with the final Windows 11 build.

You can activate the availability of the new features by navigating to Settings | Windows Update. The new features will be gradually available to all users who have toggled this option. Microsoft has started to roll out Copilot in Windows in a phased manner to Windows Insiders in select global markets and regions. The Copilot in Windows is available in North America, United Kingdom including parts of Asia and South America. The company is gearing up to add additional markets and regions over a period of time.
