Poco X2 to launch on February 4 as Flipkart exclusive

POCO X2

Within days after the separation of Poco brand from Xiaomi, there is a piece of good news for tech-savvy enthusiasts. The Poco X2 will launch on February 4 with premium features and specifications. The Walmart-owned Flipkart has teased the arrival of the Poco X2, which indicates the availability of the handset on the e-commerce marketplace. The company has already mailed media invites for the launch event that will take place in New Delhi.

Tagged with #SmoothAF, the Poco X2 is touted to be a refreshed version of the Redmi K30 4G smartphone. Moreover, the Poco X2 will ship with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is higher than the conventional 60Hz refresh rate. The company revealed that the Poco X2 will have “extreme refresh rate” and “seamless touch response”. The device will also ship with the latest Snapdragon processor with support for liquid cooling technology.

The Poco X2 will ship with an advanced 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor paired with a secondary camera. However, it’s unlikely that the handset will be up for grabs with dual camera. There is a possibility of at least 3 secondary cameras based on the latest technology. This will provide strong competition for other identical smartphones. The device will also include a pop-up camera on the front, which will activate when you tap on the selfie option via the camera app. The fast charging will be supported by the USB Type-C port and a headphone port.

The company has created a dedicated site – smoothaf.co.in, which outlines that the team ran out of budget while designing the website. However, the site is exclusively oriented for the mobile. The company also prompts you to try the device on your smartphone. If you select the button, you will be redirected to the official site of Poco India.
