Over 64 percent Of Microsoft Employees Bet On TikTok, Reveals Survey

TikTok is in the news for all the wrong reasons and nearly 64 percent of Microsoft employees bet for the crazy app. President Donald Trump gave 45 days for the TikTok to finalize a deal with Microsoft. The latest development is that Oracle also entered the race to steal TikTok. Hence, IT professionals have placed bets on the end outcome.

Blind, an anonymous professional network with 3.6M verified users conducted a poll with one single query “What is your bet on the future of TikTok?”. The poll garnered over 4711 responses and robust dialogue with 234 professionals.

According to Blind survey, 19 percent of professionals bet that Byte Dance moves HQ to London and Microsoft acquired global TikTok operations. As many as 25 percent of Microsoft employees vouch that Byte Dance should move to London and Microsoft acquires global TikTok operations. Talking about Oracle, nearly 18 percent of its employees are of the opinion that Bye Dance should move its Headquarters to London and Microsoft acquires Global TikTok operations.

The Blind survey revealed that 64 percent of professionals bet that Microsoft should acquire TikTok North America. Nearly 64 percent Microsoft and 60 percent Oracle employees bet that Microsoft acquires TikTok North America.

According to an undisclosed Microsoft employee, enabling Governments in the free world to shutdown companies is a slippery slope. A ban can’t force users to uninstall the app or ISPs to filter TikTok traffic, reveals another Microsoft employee who declined to reveal the name.

It is to be noted that India has banned TikTok has been banned in India after the deadly Border clash with Chinese forces. In addition to TikTok, Narendra Modi-led Government had banned over 100 apps including Weibo, Club Factory, and others.

The ban on Club Factory is a big setback for China because it was the starting point for all e-commerce shipments. We had received several shipments from Bandgood via Club Factory and it’s not possible to buy any goods from China. The move is also a big setback for tech bloggers who buy products from China for review purposes.
