LG has announced the launch of LG Style 3 in Japan in Aurora White and Mirror Black. The LG Style 3 features an OLED notch display alongside Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with dual rear cameras with 48MP and 5MP sensors. It’s interesting to note that the company has included dual cameras when the competing devices ship with quad-camera sensors. In addition to the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, the LG Style 3 provides support for water and dust via IP68 technology. The handset also includes a dedicated Google Assistant button paired with support for NFC.
LG Style 3 Specifications
The LG Style 3 features a 6.1-inch OLED QHD+ display with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels. The aspect ration 19.5:9 helps you to view content in widescreen. Under the hood, the LG Style 3 is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB expandable storage. You will be able to extend the storage up to 512GB via microSD card slot. The phone is pre-loaded with Android 10 operating platform. You will find the fingerprint sensor on the rear.
On the optics, the Style 3 consists of a 48MP (f/1.8) primary camera sensor coupled with a 5MP (f/2.2) secondary sensor. The selfie segment is flavored with an 8MP sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. In addition to 4G VoLTE, Style 3 provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, NFC including USB Type-C port. The handset also carries a traditional headphone port with power via a 3500mAh battery.
LG Style 3 Price & Availability
LG is yet to reveal the exact price of the LG Style 3. However, going by the specs, we expect the cost to be below INR 15000. The smartphone is also listed on the NTT Docomo, which is the Japan-based network operator. We don’t know when the company will launch the device in emerging countries like India. The company could probably launch the device in another name but will be delayed due to the nationwide lockdown till May 3.
