    • Microsoft Expands Windows 11 Android apps to Windows Insiders in Japan

    Microsoft has announced the preview of Windows 11 Android apps in addition to its availability in the US. However, the Windows 11 Android apps preview will be available only to Windows Insiders based in Japan. You should update to Microsoft Store version 22206.1401.6 or higher to install the latest version of the Amazon Appstore. Moreover, the latest Microsoft Store version provides best user experience. Windows Insider should also install Windows 11 Version 22H2 or higher on devices that meet the requirements for Windows Subsystem for Android.

    Microsoft revealed the availability of Android apps support on Windows 11 during the launch event in June 2021. However, the functionality was made available only to Windows Insiders in the US. The availability of Android apps preview on Windows 11 in Japan will pave way for the rollout of the same feature in other emerging countries like India. Microsoft urges users to file feedback via Feedback Hub for reporting all the issues.
